Counsel Creative is a Chattanooga based brand agency specializing in storytelling for good. With an emphasis on building tight-knit collaborative relationships and telling meaningful stories, they help bring brands to life through visual branding, web development, and video production. Founder, Kenny Morgan, reached out to me to help them rebrand with something friendly, personable, authentic, and community-centric. It was important their agency felt welcoming and warm vs too high-end or too neutral. Injecting a human element was key – there’s real people behind the brand that work closely on each project. We adopted a bit of a retro flair inspired by the humanist and simplistic designs of the 50s, to evoke feelings of warmth and personality. We also added a touch of outdoors-inspired imagery to convey the sense of camaraderie that comes with telling stories around a campfire. The end result is a brand that feels relatable, trustworthy, fun, and up for adventure.
