How It Works

Getting Started

Shoot me an email and we'll start by talking all about your project needs and creative vision. I'll work closely with you while gathering information and brainstorming ideas to ensure we're on the same page before beginning the design process. Once all the details are finalized, I'll send over the invoice and design agreement.

Research & Create

We'll work together to collect inspiration and, when necessary, I'll send over a mood board that communicates the aesthetic direction of your project. From there, I'll develop sketches and concepts and keep you updated with mockups for review. Your feedback is super important to the design process as we work towards a solution that best represents your vision.

Finalization

Once everything is finished and any revisions have been made, I'll package up your project files and send them off with an accompanying guide book. Since many of my clients' projects are multifaceted, I'm always happy to continue to work on additional needs as they come up, whether that's a website, lookbook design, or new print collateral. So keep in touch!

Frequently Asked Questions

+ What's the turnaround time for a project?

Turnaround time varies from project to project, but on average, most designs take about 5 weeks to complete. Larger buildouts can take about 2 to 3 months depending on the details. We'll outline a specific timeline at the beginning of your project. Rush projects can sometimes be accomodated for a fee.

+ Do we need to be local to work together?

Nope! I've work with clients from all over the world, and since most of my design projects are done remotely via email, location is not a problem. If you happen to be located in San Diego and your project would best be discussed in person, I'm happy to arrange meetings once you've booked with me. For photography services, I'm available to travel so just reach out to me for a quote!

+ In detail, what is your design process like?

Once you're ready to get started, send me a proposal via my contact form with a bit of info about your project. If we sound like a good fit, I'll send over some general info along with a design questionnaire. After thoughtfully filling that out, we'll schedule a complimentary consultation to go over your answers more in-depth and get acquainted via FaceTime, Skype, or in-person (if local). Once we're on the same page and ready to get the ball rolling, I'll send over the invoice and design agreement. For projects under $1K, full payment is required up front; above $1K, there's a 50% payment plan (50% upon booking, 50% before final delivery). I start by gathering inspiration and create a mood board that encompasses the visual feel for the project. We'll discuss what you like about certain examples and possibly what you don't like. Your involvement during the initial stages of the design process will help me best bring your ideas to life during the sketching and conceptualizing phase. Once we're in agreement about the inspiration, I'll start sketching and provide concepts for your review. In some cases, these will be rough samples, while other times the concept may be more fleshed out or near complete. Once you decide on a direction you like, I'll work on expanding the design or providing revisions. When you're happy with the design (and I know you will be!) I'll package up the files and send them over with a guidebook for releasing your new project to the world!

+ How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of revisions are included in a standard package. This may include major changes to the design, or simple color tweaks. While I'm usually happy to work until the project is to your liking, extra rounds of revisions will be charged at my hourly rate of $50.

+ Can I see a few concepts before I decide to book you?

I have a strict No Spec Work policy. Not only does spec work hurt designers, but it's bad for your business as well. While I very well might be able to create a "good looking" design on a whim for your project, real good design requires conversation, collaboration, and meaningful information. Read more on that here. Or watch this video.

+ What kind of experience do you have?

I have 9+ years of freelance graphic design, web design, and photography experience, and have worked with hundreds of small businesses and creative individuals. At 16-years-old, I started freelancing and haven't looked back since. I completed a degree with honors in graphic design at San Diego State where I studied typography, branding, and packaging. My photography has been published in magazines, books, and online publications worldwide. I've been fortunate to be able to make a living being my own boss at a young age and do what I love full-time.

+ I'm ready to get started! What next?

Awesome! If we sound like a good fit and you're ready to start working together, send me an email about your project and let's chat! Can't wait to hear from you!

Nice Words From Cool People

Corinne always exceeds my expectations. She is not just a versatile photographer, but also a creative artist, graphic designer, & all-around visionary. Corinne always finds a way to make her photographs & art unique to her style while still giving her clients what they want. There is no question that you will get more than your money's worth!

Heath Farmer, The Bolts

I approached Corinne to work on a user interface design for our software. Corinne is so talented with graphic design & the interface she created for us turned out fantastic. With very little instruction on our part, she was able to take an idea we had & turn it into a beautiful visual experience for our customers. Not only did she help us with designs, but she provided us with insights that have helped us shape how people will interact with our software.

Jennifer Wood, BrewPrint

Corinne is absolutely amazing to work with. I only use her for all of my photography & design needs. Not only does she get the job done on time, but she goes above & beyond by implementing her creative skills into everything she does. I will work with no one else!

Blake LaGrange

I'm thrilled about my new website! With great skill & talent Corinne took my chicken scratch ideas & created exactly the feel I wanted. She helped me to better define my small business & give it the creative flare it needed. She works fast & communicates clearly making it easy & stress free, even for the computer illiterate such as myself. I highly recommend Corinne!

Corinne was a dream to work with. I came to her with a half-baked project & she helped me turn it into something really unique & professional. She's easy to communicate with, very thorough, & clearly passionate about what she does. I was blown away by how much effort she put into understanding my vision & making it even better. She's a true creative & I'd recommend her to anyone hoping to make something special!

Allison Rosecast, Arc & Ember

Corinne is a fantastic photographer & designer. She comes through for us at all times & the work is impeccable.

Leah Urbano, Crimson Management

I've hired Corinne for multiple photo shoots over the past four years, to create promotional images for our bands & have always been thrilled with the end result! She is my go-to for warm, vibrant images that are bold, unique, & classy. Corinne is also wonderful to work with. She's always open to new ideas, yet creative in her own right, understanding of the wants, needs, & timelines of the record label & bands, & is, of course, insanely talented. It's clear that she loves what she does & her passion truly shows in her work.

Natalie Bisignano, Equal Vision Records

Corinne is the most talented creative professional I've had the opportunity to work with & her work speaks for itself. We put our brand identity in her hands & she took it to a level we could have never imagined. She took the time to truly understand us & our brand. Corinne's collaboration & open communication throughout the branding process was a great experience & the distance was not a concern at all. I will continue to recommend her to anyone looking to partner with a creative branding professional.

Jordan Garrett, The Bar Cartist
